Nordhues clan comes to Minnesota
7-18-05 — Rachelle
More peeps from Nebraska ! This time the Nordhues clan. Brandon has decided to go to school at St. John's College which is north of the Twin Cities about an hour and a half; he had summer orientation on Friday the 15 th , so afterwards Bob, Jeanette, Brandon, Cody and Jacob came down to stay with us…that makes a total of 7 people that stayed in our one bedroom apartment! I hope the floor and the couch was nice and comfortable!! We went to a Twins Baseball game - not as good as the last one I saw since we lost. But Jeanette and I had a great time not paying attention to the game! Then we spent a full day at the Mall of America – Jeanette can give new meaning to “shop ‘till you drop,” however I don't think the twins were quite as excited to partake in the full day event, but they did get some quality time in at Camp Snoopy as well as identical Minnesota Twins t-shirts! We also went to church at the St. Paul Cathedral, then had a bar-b-q…needless to say, Saturday was a full day!! Then they left on Sunday. I'm sure you'll notice there is one child's name missing from the list above…Dylan stayed with my parents – and I'm sure he did a great job of keeping them – and the ball team that was up for Greeley Days – entertained!
Again…no pictures. I wasn't thinking!! I totally forgot to take the camera with us all weekend. I really need to get better at remembering that thing. I even had it sitting on the counter. In the words of Napoleon Dynamite, “Idiot! Gosh!”
